The perfect recipe for Tortilla

Ingredients Dry Part

  • 6-7 eggs in a large bowl
  • 4 peeled and finely sliced potatoes
  • 2 large finely sliced onions not cubes!!
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 0.5 liter of olive oil
  • 23 cm frying pan for the tortilla
  • Optional: Chorizo variation spicy in little cubes. Fry the chorizo cubes before addin the cubes to the eggs mixture.

 

    1Add olive oil to a pan. First gently fry the onions for 5 - 10 minutes. Then add the thinly sliced potatoes. Cook for another 10 minutes.

    2Now add the potatoes and onions to the egg mixture mix and leave for 15 minutes.

    3Fry the tortilla approx 1 minute on high heat and 2-3 minutes on each side. Turn using a plate. Check it is not stuck. Aim for a slightly jelly center.
