Cinnamon Oat Rösti

Ingredientsoats rösti

80 Grams Oats (small ones make a crispier rösti)
1 Large Egg
4 tspn sugar
3 tspn cinnamon
2 Tbspn flour
20 grams linseeds roast them before for extra flavor
Splash of flakseed oil to fry or butter if you want

Preparation

Mix the ingredients together. Keep the rösti thin. Max 7mm high. The height of an adult pinky. Heat the pan with the oil and at first fry quickly. Watch the sides get brown but do not burn!
Then turn down the heat and bron on both sides for around 10 minutes. Cut in bars and serve warm. Delicious with mapleleaf sirop or on its own. Extra healthy dip them in chocolate! :D

Winepairing

Pair this with a delicious Gewürztraminer or alteratively with a fresh pinot noir this works well with the cinnamon and roasted oats.
