The ultimate breakfast? In the morning with fresh whipped cream, maple leaf sirop and other toppins simply delicious
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 100 grams of melted butter at room temperature and some for making the pancakes
- 30 CL full fat milk
- 30 CL buttermilk
- 3 Tbspn of powder sugar
- 0.5 tspn salt
- 1 tspn baking soda
- 380 gram self raising flour
- Optional: Add grated skin of a lemon or orange. Replace some of the sugar with vanilla sugar. And yes fry bacon stripes to add to these delicious pancakes.
1Combine the dry ingredients in one bowl and the "wet" ingredients in another. Ensure that you sieve the flour 2 - 3 times together with the other dry ingredients
2Gently combine the bowls and spoon them together do not over mix. Lumps are ok
3Heat a pan and make your pancakes. Flip once and ensure golden brown on both sides.
