Scones English Style

Ingredients

• 300 grams of cake flour or all purpose flour
• 2 grams salt
• 13 grams baking powder
• 70 grams butter
• vanilla to taste
• 25 grams sugar
• 1 tspn lemon juice
• 200 ml milk
• egg yolk

Instructions

1Mix the flour with the baking soda, baking powder, in short all dry ingredients

2Heat milk to 50 degrees and add vanilla and lemon juice

3Add butter to the drys ingredients and mix to you have crumbs

4Add milk with the vanilla and lemon juice. Mix with a fork and form untill you have a ball around an inch high and use a 4cm cookie cutter, egg wash the tops, and put on a baking tray in a preheated oven art 200 degrees

5Bake for around 18 minutes and let cool for around 22 minutes until golden brown.
