A swiss classic. Service with an egg, add bacon or simply as a side dish for a main course. DELICIOUS! True love from Switzerland

Ingredients

  • 1 KG Potatoes cooked with the peel on. Use a type that cooks and stays firm
  • 50 grams of bacon cubes smoked or not smoked
  • 1 small onion finely sliced in cubes
  • Butter non salted
  • Porkfat
  • 2 Tbspn full fat milk
  • Pepper
  • Muskat
  • Preparation

    1Peel the cooked potatoes are they cooled down for 1 - 2 hours. Grate them and add a little salt

    2In a frying pan heat the butter, porkfat and add the bacon cubes and the finely sliced onion fry them crispy not just brown

     

    3add the grated potatoes and turn and fry tem multiple times and them press them to a shape with a plate. Fry for another 20 minutes untill golden yellow
