Pickled Red Onions

Ingredients Option 1

  • around 3 red onions sliced very thin or thicker if you like a crunch
  • 250 grams white wine vinegar
  • 250 grams water
  • 40 grams sugar
  • 25 grams salt (around 2.5% salt)
  • peppercorns, garlic

 

    Instructions

    1Mix the sugar, salt, vinegar, water bring to a gentle boil for 1 minute

    2Cool down a little and add to the jar where you have the onions already. Make sure you clean the jar/disinfect.

Scale the recipe for more and keep relatively long in the fridge or like other pickles important you work clean!
