Artichoke, Lemon&Sardine pasta

sardinesEasy pasta that I enjoy making when the fridge is almost empty :). Easy quick and delicious with some sunfilled flair. Enjoy. You can replace ingredients as you wish. 

 

Ingredients

  • 100 gram Spagetti per person or quinoa (healthier)
  • 1 Lemon (For juice and zest)
  • 2 - 3 Tbspn Olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 artichokes per person
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Sardine filets in lemon olive oil (can)

Preparation & Cooking Instructions

1Prepare the artichokes. Cut of the top, remove the small leaves and stem at the bottom, rinse them well (spread the peddles) Cook them in water with three halved cloves of garlic and a little salt (around 6 grams for 1 liter). Once cooked take of the big leafes and go through the center leaves around the heart. Test bite them to see if they are tender. Take the tender leaves  and the heart. Chope the up or quickly in the blender.

2Cook the pasta al dente (read the directions on the packaging or or 2 minutes for fresh pasta)

3Mix the artichokes, with 2 cloves of pressed garlic, salt and pepper to taste, add the olive oil and lemon juice to taste. Finish off with a few spinkles of lemon zest.

4Add this to the pasta and now add the sardines. Add large flakes of fish to the mixture make sure you gentle toss the fish in the pasta. You large pieces of fish. A dash of black pepper and a slice of lemon as decoration. Enjoy!
