From the outside the restaurant does not look incredibly inviting. However the interior does not look like much either. Why go here?  Go for the food and the friendly down to earth honest service. This restaurant has a heart and a soul. A good menu everything is cooked from scratch. The staff is extremely well trained. Personal wishes are fulfilled. This time I enjoyed the wild garlic (Bärlauch) maultaschen. Delicious and well made. The wild garlic soup was good perhaps a little less salt for my tasting but all together this was really good. Just wine selection is not spectecualr but hey I love good honest cooking!

Dark and warm like a spanish night glimmering red. A little spanish barnyard not as extreme as the french but with more fungy. Very herbal and berry red. Notes to leather and almonds rich and sophisticated with delightful tannins and raised by moderate spices and acidity. Great after chew plays with you a little. A smart wine that is fresh and mature but with a Denis the Menace  sense of humor that keep you on your toes with a smile.

This is one of the smaller vineyards for Médoc. With less than 5 hectares in size.
