This is appelation I appreciate so much. Domaine Michel Dutarte is a producer that sells a lot directly to supermarkets and discounters. Do not be mistaken that this is a bad thing! This entry level Pouily-Fumé is has a beatiful clear lemonesque color with a clean nose. The nose is filled with herbal citrus nettle notes. The off dry flint minerality is fresh and direct. This very floral and herbal Pouilly-Fumé is medium bodies and has a medium spingtime like finish. This is a wine to bring some springtime into your day.
