This one of those bars... in the front is has a beauiful! Nice lights, Great bar with comfortable seats. Big chandelier as a central piece of the front bar. The back section has comfortable seats and looks very inviting indeed. The drink options are pretty standard. The food is normal but the wine list is nice and has a strong focus on Tuscany. There is an almost daily changing menu. Price level is typical for this type of restaurant in Bern. The reason I call it bar as it is better to go here for drinks than to go here for diner. Or enjoy a bottle of wine from their enjoyable wine list. However for drinks this is a very nice location. In the centre of the old town. A decent simple wine list that invites. Some simple finger foods from the Tuscany focused menu. A nice place to start the evening or to meet up as this is a public transportation hub for trams and busses. I like the front bar the most as it is very well made. Just wish the wine selection was better. 

Desmond castle is home to the Kinsale wine museum. The museum is a great tribute to the rich wine history of Ireland. you need around 90 minutes for the museum and you will look at Ireland in a different way. Lots of interesting information and a nice guided tour. When in Kinsale do not miss this!

Mövenpick has multiple shops in Switzerland and the shops have a fantastic selection of wines. Service is most of the time fabulous. You can taste wines all the time. This is great to discover new wine gems. They have an excellent online wineshop. You will always find a nice bottle to bring a long and you probably end up with more than one bottle when you leave.

Situated next to Bern station. This is one of my favorite places. Easy drinks, nice wines and ofcourse.... Excellent sushi and sashimi (Probably the best in Bern!). The Schweizerhof has it's own sushi chef and this gentlemen is very talented to say the least. Ofcourse the other options on the menu are enjoyable too. Try the big sushi platter you will be amazed! This is casual 5 star hotel dining as they only service this in the ground floor bar. Which is a shame but these are the current rules... The service is excellent. During the week it is busy around 18:00 when alot people visit for drinks. The wine list is fabulous. Big selection of famous  and not so famous wine delights. Try your good fortune around 19:00 when it is a little more quiet
