Pumpkin Puree (Basic)

Deliciousa Pumpkin puree the basic recipe. Ready to add your own signature to this healthy and excellent dish.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 1.5 - 2 KG Pumpkin and sea salt

Preparation

1Set the oven to 190 degrees

2Cut the pumpkin in slices with a large knife or meat kleaver, empty out the center. Keep the seeds if you want for roasting or throw them away. ensure all the "stringy bits" are gone and the pieces are clean and stand up stable.. Be careful! Cut a little of the bottom of the pumpkin slices to they stand stabile on the baking tray in the oven. Sprinke with salt. Cook for approx. 50 minutes.

3Add the pumpkin in a blender and mix to a puree. Add your own spices to finish this simple but delicious puree. Add cooked potatoes to make it more firm.
