Poffertjes or Minion Pancakes

I love poffertjes so light and tasty. Add a little banana to this and the minions will love them too. Bananaaaaaahhhhh!!!!

Ingredients

    • 400 grams of flour
    • 600 ml luke warm (25 -30 degrees full fat fresh milk (optional 300 ml beer and 300 ml milk)
    • 6 grams of salt
    • 14 grams dry yeast (approx 2 bags)
    • Sprinkle of sugar to taste and optional lemon zest
    • 2 eggs
    • 100 grams of melted butter
    • add real vanilla for added deliciousness

    Preparation

    1Sieve the salt and the flour and yeast. Mix well

    2Add the milk, mix well, add the butter and the eggs mix well. Add the sugar and stir again.

    3Leave the mixture for 1 hour until it has doubled in size. Now pour it into bottle to easily dose later in the "poffertjes pan"

    4Heat up the poffertjes pan not to hot. With gently brush some melted butter into each of the parts of the poffertjespan

    5Fry until light brown on one side and turn with a fork. Serve with butter and powder sugar.
