An exhibition of wine with the possibility to taste various wines of the region. It is a little expensive. If in the area have look but it is not extra ordinairy. Just ok and interesting if you around at the lake and in the region. 

Twice a year in Paris and other cities around France. Over 1000 wineries and more than 10000 different wines. A great opportunity to taste yourself through France. You cna purchase wines directly and ofcourse have a bite to eat. The food on offer is expensive and of "Salon" quality. Do not expect miracles. The best days to go are Thursday and Friday. The whole Paris visits on Saturday. Tickets are well priced around 8 Euros per person including a tasting glass. You can get free tickets from wineries if you ask in advance.

Wein am Rhein is a strange place and typical at the same time. From a wine perspective it offers everything you desire. An expert sommelier (Melanie) that is on the top of here game. Understands the customer and has an eye for details and a brilliant sense of humor.   

On the other side the the food is way below par and actually not compatible to the wine experience. Go there for the wine and use the food menu in a tapas fashion. Then you will not be dissapointed. 

This is a 100% real wine bar. Great food, Majestic wines, Excellent selection. Friendly staff. Vincent is a wine expert that manages this bar with his heart. The whole experience is excellent from start to finish. The bottles are priced fair. The cheese selection is wonderful .Everything speaks for this wine bar. Simply the best of the best.
